The challenge
The client approached Konekt to develop a social media application that allows people to enjoy rich media experience of their pets and animals by sharing stories of photos and videos with millions of people across the world. The proposed application was demanded to be developed on iOS platform. As the app market is flooded with multifold social applications, the client visions to develop a platform that allows users to one of a kind pet social media app to the pet community in Sri Lanka.

What we built
Konekt initiated the project in an Agile approach by constantly and continuous reporting and interacting with the client for feedback. The UX played a major role to bring out the client’s vision for an excellent UI with a simple yet intuitive interface to help users engage with the app. The UI/UX team followed an intuitive approach to design the mobile application by conducting research and identifying user stories, application flows, MVP features, use case scenarios, etc. The development team collaborated with the client and provided regular builds and status updates, keeping track of the application progress. We were able to propose new functionalities to further enhance the user experience and value, also unique revenue opportunities to the client. An admin platform was built at the backend to manage the app. The admin platform provides the option to conveniently monitor and update the app and its content instantly.
